Family Fun Day!

Emma and Zach checking out the Jellyfish!
Hiding in a cave in the kids play area.

Josh is looking at the marsh...I think he wants to go for a dip!

On Saturday we took the kids to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy. It was so much fun to see how excited they all got to see all of the neat things! Emma, Zach, Josh and I have been there a couple of times before, but we've wanted to bring Jamie along for quite a while. We all really enjoyed spending time together and just having fun! After checking out all of the awesome creatures we went to Wendy's for lunch. Yummy!! After our bellys were full we drove a couple of blocks down the street to The Aquarium (a fish store) and bought four aquatic frogs for our fish tank at home! They are so funny to watch!! It was so funny because Emma named them all rainbow on the way home from Salt Lake. I asked her how she was going to be able to tell them apart since they all looked alike and she was thoroughly confused. Jamie and I had a good laugh! :)

Zachie hamming it up...as usual!

Riding the froggy!

It's Tough Being 2!

Zachie is at a really tough stage with naps now. I can't quite figure out what to do! He's not really tired anymore at his usual nap time, so he fights it like crazy and it's just not worth the fight. But if he doesn't take a nap at his normal time, then he will fall asleep just before or after dinner...wherever he is! We have actually had him fall asleep in the middle of dinner too! Poor boy! Then he's a cranky little guy until bedtime rolls around. Grrr...it's just really tough being a two year old!

Josh's 9 Month Checkup

Well, Josh had his 9 month checkup last friday. Luckily he didn't have to get any shots this time, but I don't think he'll be so lucky the next time around. Poor kid!! I mean...you'd think with all of the high tech things that people think up, why not an easier way to give immunizations?? Seriously, people!!! It's just evil!! Anyway...Josh weighs 17.5 pounds, which is really small for his age, so the doctor told us to give him high calorie foods to help him put on the pounds. I wish a doctor had to tell me that!! He doesn't look small or anything, but I guess that's why I'm not the expert! But other than the small weight thing, he is a happy healthy little guy! Oh...and I can't forget to mention that he had to flirt with every female while he was at the appointment. Nurses, receptionists, other patients...he's not picky! :)

Starting Up...

Ok...so this is our first blog. I've checked out so many friend's pages and loved learning about what was going on it their lives. I thought I would give everyone else a chance to find out what is going on in ours! :) I hope everyone enjoys it!
